Confirmand - the newest adults... can do it themselves
I don't know how seriously one should take confirmation. I took it very seriously myself, the teaching was different; the priest addressed me as an adult, asking me spiritual questions. It was an exciting time, in the midst of a race to attend church 10 times, faster than my buddies. My friend Johnny was the quickest to get 10 services under his belt. So fast that the priest questioned him lightly on the themes, only to find out that some of the sermons had actually stuck in Johnny's open mind.
Clothes for the Confirmand
Most confirmands become monochrome copies of adults. That's fine too, and understandable. What makes parents happiest is when their darling loudly expresses enthusiasm for the confirmation outfit.
We get the best results by considering the budget parents want to set, and then talking to the new adult. The confirmand often has opinions.

The coolest thing about confirmands is definitely when they are open to trying all sorts of colors and ideas. For me as an advisor, it's exciting to dress a man in new clothes for the first time. Stripes, checks, burgundy, corduroy, and shining wool... It's great to see their reactions and watch them become even more men in a well-dressed sense.

I had 3 confirmands with me: No. 1 was Sammy in the classic Cavaliere suit for 2995, No. 2 Christoffer in a wonderfully wild 'The Great Gatsby' Lordsfools jacket, and clear blue trousers from Zara. No. 3 Mathias in arm garters, a white Samsøe shirt, and a cool vest.
