Dress sharper than your first impulse – on your wedding day

Our Imagination and Suits

We are sometimes products of our imagination. When it comes to suits, our guests are typically limited by a lack of mirror time. Standing in front of the mirror is not necessarily a priority on our internal "to-do" list.

The Role of the Wedding Suit

The wedding suit is one of the cornerstones of a man's wedding identity. Everything else is settled, and the dress is DEFINITELY wilder and more beautiful than anything the bride has ever worn. Therefore, consider whether you should choose dark blue, like 30 other men at the wedding, OR if you should drop by the suit temple in Nørregade and try on 5-6 or 15 different jackets.

Test Your Potential

Test your potential, take responsibility for your shared leading role, and acknowledge that your appearance, for once, can be challenged and MUST be given a small element of "too much." Explore the boundaries and dress sharper than ever for the most photographed day of your life.

Let the Mirror Decide

I'll say it again: Let the mirror and your boyish smile decide which outfit you end up receiving your better half in. The sky's the limit.

Break a leg, my friend.

Take a Trip to the Borderlands

David K, owner of Herrernes Magasin, has no doubt how a groom-to-be should handle his attire: He must push his boundaries and dare to try something wild. Therefore:

1. Give Your Clothes a Rocket Boost

“I see clothes a bit like a rocket: The jacket is a booster rocket that should get you going, but it’s important that there’s something that can carry itself forward when you detach the booster. An elegant festive waistcoat or cool suspenders, a special shirt or cufflinks – when the groom takes off his jacket, many of the cool details disappear,” says the fashion expert. Therefore, the next layer is incredibly crucial for the groom's look for the majority of the party.

2. The Details That Matter

“At the same time, it’s important to point out that the details that might seem like TOO much are often just enough – especially when the dress looks so perfect late into the night. We’re not saying that things HAVE to be a certain way, and my team isn’t elitist or snobby. We enjoy discreetly advising our guests through the suit tops we put on them in front of the mirror. We want to help you in your search for inspiration. It’s important to acknowledge the small changes, for example, trying on a waistcoat, patent leather shoes, braided loafers, a tuxedo shirt, or a Florence necktie for the first time in your life.”

3. Find Your Style

Even if we don't end up being your supplier for suit days, after a visit, you will know exactly who to visit to make your new suit unbeatable every time. I like to push the boundaries of what's normal – just a little towards the place where you are immensely proud and a little bit more dashing than the other handsome friends around you.
