Developing, not phasing out

Ties are evolving. All forms have, of course, been retrieved from storage and tried before. Mathematicians published a book with hundreds of tie knots, theoretical and perhaps a bit silly variations. This, however, still provided fertile ground for ideas to bring some of the coolest knots to tie aficionados around the globe.

Tie fans emerged, happy after a decade in the closet. Because now there was finally fertile ground for playing with ties. Play is the keyword for many of today's fashion trends. Courage and play, the desire to be able to personify almost anything. The masses, you and I, perhaps, we no longer distinguish ourselves only by colors. We try different widths, tie textures, knots, and compositions. Tie composition, wow... really?

Yes, because there is also play with placing the inner part of the tie in front of the shorter and narrower end... right in front, completely visible!! - It's allowed today, you can do it. Just do it a bit demonstratively, so it's clear that you're 'sloppy with your tie' on purpose. Euroman Magazine featured a guide introducing the 'Euroman knot'; a loose tie knot, which we call a Four-in-hand or Schoolboy knot.
