Brands you probably don't know
Herrernes Magasin carries exceptionally fine brands, most of which are tiny in Denmark. So you probably won't be entirely reassured by the list we've decided to provide here on the page. Boss, Tiger, Eton are perfectly fine, except that everyone swears by them; It is David K's philosophy that "with a single-minded focus on one single brand, we achieve a narrow-minded composition, insufficient variation, and herd mentality, which slowly and considerately bores us to death."
We are constantly introducing new drops from unknown suppliers, sometimes just for one season from a small brand that has delighted our purchasing team. We travel extensively around Europe to find specialists in individual areas. It's part of the fuel that drives the joy of serving guests, that we can contribute with, for example, suit solutions that were NOT expected.
Here are a few examples of the more unknown brands we carry. Brands you don't necessarily need to know, but will encounter at Nørregade 20.
Bramante
It's exquisite Italian knitwear. Bramante first caught David K's attention with their linen knit and Hampton-esque style. Times change, and Bramante's themes constantly shift. Herrernes Magasin has cardigans, polos, V-necks, scarves, vests, and pullovers made by Bramante. We are their only customer in Northern Europe. They are huge in their home country, and a typical example of quality suppliers that we Scandinavians have NEVER heard of before :-)
Germano
A trouser brand that is a major supplier to the best fashion houses. Italian raw materials and cool designs or colors. We are not a trouser shop, BUUUUT you will find a good selection of lovely chinos and wild seasonal trousers, from DKK 995.00 up to DKK 2495,-.

If you want to be unique at the office or a party in something truly special, we have to mention Germano. A large Italian factory that only makes trousers. Truly exquisite qualities, and quite unknown in Scandinavia.
Raparo
Roberto Raparo. Wow, we get excited every time there are new arrivals from Raparo. Roberto was recommended to David by a leather supplier who worked with kangaroo hides. Since then, Raparo has been a fixed part of our shoe assortment. Every year, Roberto and David K design 1-2 extraordinary boots or shoes. For example, patent leather boots, green men's boots with red fur lining have been on the program.
Savalli
Danish design in Italian shoes. We are happy to have Savalli as a partner for our own designs. David K & Crew design 2 collections every year, AND keep more and more established hits alive, such as our kangaroo shoes. 3-color ultra-soft classic dress shoes.
Our design has a slightly wider forefoot. They are handmade from start to finish. Patent leather shoes, in particular, appear in our selection. David K is completely crazy about patent leather shoes.
Stange Berlin
Tailored bow ties from a small German factory. One of the last to sew to neck size. They only speak German and are very old-fashioned. That's how it is with a 1934-Berlin production... efficient, meticulous, and luxurious.

The 'regular house brands' are chosen based on the same criteria as the guest brands: they must be high quality, preferably with a twist. Typically, the fashion houses are proud and well-known in their home countries, but we have tried completely new and struggling suppliers. Sometimes things don't materialize, Korean windbreakers, African fabrics for capes; several times, it hasn't gone through from the supplier, but that's the risk we take to bring you novelties and new variations on the familiar classics.
We can always deliver classic suits and combinations, but from quality brands you probably didn't know about. It's a big world out there, come and see a bit of what otherwise passes us by.
